Dr. Rajesh Mehrotra ist außerordentlicher Professor in der Abteilung für Biowissenschaften des BITS-Pilani. Er promovierte an der Universität Banaras Hindu in Biotechnologie. Seine Doktorarbeit trug den Titel "Studien über die Interaktion zwischen cis-aktiven Upstream-Sequenzen bei der Regulierung der Genexpression in Pflanzen".
