Stéphanie Demasse-Pottier studied literature before starting her career as a youth librarian in Seine-Saint-Denis, France, and dedicating herself to writing. A prolific French author, her most recent children's books include Et j'entends siffler le train (also with illustrator Lucie David; 2024), Monsieur Cheval et ses amis (2023), Emile et Félix (2023), Sans détour (2022), Ralentir (2022), and Mon i¿le (2018), which was published as My Island by Princeton Architectural Press.
