Jennifer Hobbs Zahn was born in Jackson, Mississippi in 1951. Though she's southern in roots, the Midwest has been home for the past 25 years. An elementary teacher for 38 years, Jennifer has a special love for children. Telling stories about her family, friends and pets was a favorite way she used to introduce and illustrate new concepts and ideas. That Old Barn was written for her grandson and is her first book.
