Sean Phillips Sean Phillips is a superstar of the comics medium. After starting out drawing girls' comics for DC Thomson, he moved to 2000 AD where his credits include Straightgate and The New Statesmen for Crisis, Danzig's Inferno and Vector 13 for the prog and Judge Dredd for the Judge Dredd Megazine. He also co-created the fan-favourite characters Devlin Waugh and Armitage. His US credits include Kid Eternity, 7 Psychopaths and Marvel Zombies. For the past several years he has partnered with writer Ed Brubaker on many projects for Image Comics, including - Criminal, Velvet, Fatale, Pulp, Where The Body Was, Night Fever and Reckless. John Smith John Smith is unquestionably a 2000 AD hero, with a host of creative credits to his name, including A Love Like Blood, Devlin Waugh, Firekind, Holocaust 12, Indigo Prime, Pussyfoot 5, Revere, Slaughterbowl, Tyranny Rex , Leatherjack, Dead Eyes and Cradlegrave. Smith has also written Future Shocks, Judge Dredd, Judge Karyn, Pulp Sci-Fi, Robo-Hunter, Rogue Trooper, Tales from Beyond Science, Vector 13 and Tales from the Black Museum. Ian Edginton Ian Edginton is a New York Times bestselling author and multiple Eisner Award nominee. Among his writing credits are Batman’66 Meets The Avengers (Steed and Mrs Peel, not the other ones!) for DC Comics as well as Judge Dredd, Stickleback, Helium, Kingmaker and Brass Sun for 2000 AD. Warren Ellis Warren Ellis is the legendary co-creator and writer of the classic Transmetropolitan for DC/Vertigo. Among his countless other credits are Moon Knight, Ultimate Fantastic Four, Planetary, The Authority, Trees, Fell and Injection. Dave Stone Dave Stone has written for 2000 AD and the Judge Dredd Megazine, creating the Soul Sisters and Armitage, and contributing to the Judge Hershey series. His most lasting contribution to the world of Judge Dredd might well have been his vision of Brit-Cit. He has also written a number of Judge Dredd and Doctor Who novels. Peter Hogan Peter Hogan's credits for 2000 AD include Tharg's Dragon Tales, Tharg's Future Shocks, Strontium Dogs, Robo-Hunter, Durham Red and Vector 13. He is perhaps best known as the writer and co-creator of the Dark Horse series Resident Alien which was adapted into a TV series in 2021. Alan McKenzie Alan McKenzie was both a writer for and editor of 2000 AD, scripting Judge Dredd and other stories, most famously the Luke Kirby series which he also co-created. He has worked for Marvel UK and edited Starburst, Cinema and Doctor Who Monthly magazines. He is the author of the non-fiction books, The Harrison Ford Story, Hollywood Tricks of the Trade and How to Draw and Sell Comic Strips. John Wagner John Wagner has been scripting for 2000 AD for more years than he cares to remember. His creations include Judge Dredd, Strontium Dog, Ace Trucking, Al’s Baby, Button Man and Mean Machine. Outside of 2000 AD his credits include Star Wars, Lobo, The Punisher and the critically acclaimed A History of Violence. Dan Abnett Dan Abnett is a seven-times New York Times bestselling author and an award-winning comic book writer.
