Jidlyne Remy Cherelus, known to many as Jid Cher, is a Haitian-American who was born and raised in South Florida and attended Florida International University, Miami Dade College, and Barry University, where she attained qualifications as an RN, and Family Nurse Practitioner.Today, working as a Family Nurse Practitioner at a Community Health Center and as a COO at Cherelus Consulting & Concierge Services, Jidlyne has added author to her accomplishments with her debut book. The ABCs of Eczema is about a young girl named Rae who has allergies and has been diagnosed with Atopic Dermatitis, also known as Eczema. Written in English and translated into Haitian-Creole, it aims to reduce the fears and stereotypes of eczema and shows how Rae is able to navigate life with eczema.Today, Jidlyne lives with her husband Sidney, their daughter Aubrey who was the inspiration for her book, and their toy poodle, Charley, in Fort Lauderdale. In her free time she enjoys most creative pursuits, including writing poetry, doing arts and crafts with her daughter, painting and creating content for Social Media. She also loves spending time with friends, shopping and participating in Medical Mission trips to less developed countries. She has organized 6 Medical Mission trips to Haiti, helping thousands of people in the process by providing them with medication, medical equipment, and numerous surgeries.
