Eva Tracy is a New Orleans native who has loved writing stories since she was a kid. She created the character of Finn during a writing class in college. Once she became a mom and an aunt to her nieces and nephews, the Finn stories grew from personal adventures. She is also the author of Blessed A Spiritual Journey, which is a series of short stories. The stories begin at the age of five when she was struck by lightning inside her home. This journey opened up a spiritual, as well as, a supernatural door. When she isn't writing, she loves to travel, design whimsical jewelry, and sing. Eva lives in New Orleans with her hubby, three grown children, and three mischievous cats. Manuel Ponce is one of the most prolific artists in Mardi Gras today. A native New Orleanian, he has been working with carnival organizations for almost 30 years. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of New Orleans in 1989 and simultaneously embarked on his career working for the largest float building company in the country, Blaine Kern Artists Inc. While there, he was privileged to learn and develop his technique and unique style. Manuel is now one of the lead artists Kern studios and designs floats for such super carnival krewes as Rex, Bacchus, Orpheus and Endymion. As an illustrator, his talents extend from float design to carnival throw items such as cups, doubloons, and specialty medallion beads. He also has designed and illustrated several well-received limited edition carnival prints.
