Authors note Book 22 is cradled inside a most remarkable part of Left-Hand Island. It is like entering the rainforests of Papua New Guinea where the vast majority of bird of paradise are found. These birds are as friendly as they are lovely and assure the children that this is a great place to live. However, they are met by some matters that are "out of this world" - some good and some dangerous. Embodied in the heart of this book is a call to protect the environment. A few environmental concepts may need further explanation beyond what the footnotes may provide. The door to dialogue on environmental issues opens as far as you wish to push it. This book will be especially interesting to children as it covers the mysterious topic of UFO's. It has collected a great deal of interest from children at my readings.
