Because Ken writes from the perspective of the redeemed, this journey is rich with God's fingerprints at every step of the way. And at a deeper level, while the particulars are Ken's unique story, the journey he describes is one that each of us either has or must, travel.

Ken Birks: Pastor, Teacher, Author, Voice of Faith Ken Birks is not just an ordained Pastor/Teacher in the Body of Christ-he is a seasoned elder, a trusted voice, and one of the dynamic teaching pastors at The Rock of Roseville in California. Though now semi-retired, Ken's ministry continues to burn brightly through his writing, teaching, and his role as a wedding officiant across the Sacramento region.For 12 powerful years, Ken pastored Golden Valley Christian Center, a Spirit-filled, non-denominational church in Roseville, where lives were transformed and faith was ignited. His journey began at the Charismatic Bible College of Anchorage, where he forged a life-changing relationship with Apostle Dick Benjamin of Abbott Loop Christian Center. For over 25 years, Dick's mentorship shaped Ken's spiritual DNA, alongside the influence of Bob Mumford (Life Changers) and, more recently, Pastor Francis Anfuso of The Rock of Roseville.Ken's legacy is not only in pulpits and publications but in family. Married to Lydia for over 46 years, together they raised two children-while also opening their hearts and home to countless teens and children as foster and surrogate parents for more than three decades.
