Autorenporträt

Zainab is a graphic designer, artist and educator. She has turned her passion of art and teaching into a career as an online tutor and mentor who creates her own educational materials, including the Simplified Rules of Tajweed and the Alif Baa Storybook. She pursued her education in these fields by acquiring a diploma in graphic design from Seneca College and a Bachelor's degree in education from York University. The love to instill traditional values into children led Zainab to teaching Quran and Islamic studies at home and online. She's been teaching young children how to read Arabic for the past 20 years. Zainab currently resides in Toronto, Canada, with her parents and is the manager, coordinator and head teacher of Al-bayan Quran Academy. To learn more about the academy, please visit al-bayanquran.ca
