Michael Freeman is a national columnist for CBSSports.com and has previously held full-time writing positions for the Boston Globe, Dallas Morning News, Florida Times-Union, New York Times, and Washington Post. He is the author of three other books, including Bloody Sundays, which was a New York Times Notable Book, and Jim Brown: The Fierce Life of an American Hero, which was nominated for best biography in the NAACP's Image Awards in 2006. He lives in New Jersey.
