Christmas has always held a special place in Sophia Payne's heart, evoking cherished memories of her formative years in Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus. During her career as a hospital pharmacist, Sophia was grateful for the blessing of medical intervention. She also witnessed and continues to believe in the profound power of hope and prayer, which inspired her to write this children's book. In addition to creative writing, Sophia enjoys nature and gardening. She is proud to be the mother of her two married sons and thrilled to be a grandmother. She currently resides in Wake Forest, North Carolina, with her beloved husband, Tom, of thirty-three wonderful years. Joe Eckstein is the illustrator of nearly thirty books for children, including Herby Gets a Life, which he also authored. Drawing and writing stories since he can remember, he grew up in central Ohio, earned a Bachelor of Fine Art degree, worked as an illustrator for a leading children's educational publisher, and teaches art and theatre to children.
