To notice that a good observation of conflict trends in Africa indicated that intrastate armed conflicts, which were rising during the end of the Colonial Period, have significantly decreased even if today they take another form. Conflicts in the continent have generally been resolved through peaceful means from decolonization to Post-Independences but a great number of conflicts remain a big and great challenge. Therefore, some questions need to be raised about this issue if or not the political Unification of the states was a matter of utmost urgency for the Africans, how the different conflicts fit and interact together, what means should be used to address to them.
