Esmée ¿eman is a ten-year-old who hails from New York City and now lives in Vienna, Austria. Esmée is passionate about cartooning and graphic novels, which she often indulges in during her free time. A trip to her grandparents' place in Michigan and a summer camp experience inspired her to write the much-loved The Avocado Book. The story's playful and slightly mischievous character, Beany, is based on her little brother, Aiden. Esmée's work is a delightful blend of her love for reading, cartoons, and childhood adventures, appealing to young readers aged 6-10.
