Catherine lives in Shropshire, England, with cats, chickens and Icelandic horses. She has never stopped believing that she can talk to animals, and eventually, this belief led her to write stories. Catherine loves the natural world and wildlife, and is passionate about promoting a better understanding of animal perspectives, and advocates for humans to live in greater harmony with our wild animals, with each other and with our environment. A graduate of the prestigious Golden Egg Academy, Catherine published her first novel, Little Viking Horse, in October 2021. The story centres around one of her own Icelandic Horses, and was inspired by Black Beauty. Her second novel, The Badger Resistance Army, is an eco-adventure story for readers of all ages 9+. A senior leader at executive and board level in Public Services, Catherine has spoken and written on leadership, and is a Personal Development and Leadership Coach.
