Kulpreet Yadav is a graduate of the Naval Officers' Academy and served in the Indian Coast Guard for twenty years, successfully commanding three ships before retiring as a Commandant in 2014. He went on to become a full-time writer and has authored numerous books across genres, including military history, espionage, and true crime. His acclaimed military histories The Battle of Rezang La (Penguin, 2021) and The Battle of Haji Pir (Penguin, 2024) have earned widespread recognition. In addition to writing, Kulpreet is also an actor, filmmaker, and entrepreneur. Madhur Rao is a historian with a deep passion for the culture, heritage, and history of Ahirwal, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Western Uttar Pradesh. An alumnus of Sherwood College, he divides his time between Kotputli, Rajasthan--where he manages a well-regarded school--and Jaipur and Gurgaon, where he oversees multiple business ventures. He is also dedicated to restoring old furniture and heritage buildings, driven by a commitment to preserving the cultural legacy of his region.
