The fresh snow nestled the Earth like a warm blanket during a thunderstorm. Specks of frozen water clung to the hibernating trees making them shimmer. Crystal-like icicles hung from the homes. The roads were bare as human and animal alike stayed in the warmth and safety of home. Your mission should you choose to read this book is to watch as Zak tries to stop someone from killing everyone at a summer camp. The BLT Powers That Be assign Zak to Camp TimberWolf. Word is that a rogue agent from the Omega Institute is there to make sure the killer succeeds. OK, that's not so bad. Mystery killer? Zak's dealt with them before. Omega Institute fiend trying to sabotage him? Been there, done that. Easy-peasy. He'll be back before dinner. Not. There's more to Camp TimberWolf than BLT let on. Hmm, why wouldn't they tell him everything? Camp TimberWolf is a summer camp to rehabilitate super-villains. And what's more is that the mystery killer isn't human. It might not even be from this planet...maybe not even this dimension. Hopefully, Zak won't be permanently late for dinner.
Autorenporträt
One day while on a field trip, I was bitten by a radioactive writer. Thus, I was granted the proportional imagination and typing speed of a writer. I also found that I could stick notes to walls, and I developed an early warning "grammar sense." Eventually, I learned that with great action verbs comes great sentences. From that day forward, I was The Somewhat Impressive Writer-Man. But really... Joe Rover is the pen name of an author who spends his time writing many family-friendly fictional stories. "Joe" has been a journalist, computer programmer, tutor, photographer, proctor, and graphic designer. He recently graduated from a business class and was a board member of his local chamber of commerce. He has won many awards, such as the "Magic Holiday Thrills" contest and the "Write to Rank" Orange Belt round. He's now moving on to his next adventure-whatever that is. He can be reached through X (@JoeRoverBooks) and through his website. Sign up for the free newsletter for short stories, updates, and more: https://www.joerover.com/newsletter
