The Beatitudes were originally taught by Yeshua in the Galilean dialect of Aramaic. This book reviews the extant Peshitta text and considers other possible interpretations. Reasons for the relevance of the Aramaic manuscripts are reviewed. A summary of aspects of the grammar are included. The Aramaic sayings are set within music (in western notation) to thaats (scales) within the Sikh rág tradition. The emotional description of each rág is explained. The chants aim to enable meditative absorption of the Beatitudes' meanings.
