Vicki Iovine ist Mutter von vier Kindern und lebt in Kalifornien. Nach Studium in Berkeley (USA), Hastings und Cambridge (UK) ist sie "summa cum laude"-Juristin; arbeitete aber meist als Fernsehproduzentin und -journalistin. Bis 2009 war sie ver heiratet mit dem bekannten Musikproduzenten Jimmy Iovine (u.a. Patti Smith und Eminem). Heute ist sie Vorstandsmitglied der Behinderten olympiade und weltweit anerkannte Autorin mehrerer Ratgeber.
