After a 20 year career as an animator and illustrator, J C Perry turned her hand to writing and illustrating her own children's books in 2018. Her second book 'Tom's Zombie Fright' was a silver medal winner in the 2020 Wishing Shelf Book Awards and her third book 'The Best Nest: A Tale of Roosting Rivalry' was shortlisted for a 2022 Selfies children's book award.
