Tony Fletcher launched Jamming! in London at the age of 13. He has continued to work in music journalism and media. A resident of New York state since the late 1980s, he is the author of 10 books including bestselling biographies of Keith Moon, R.E.M. and The Smiths, and the 1970s memoir Boy About Town.
