Cori Brooke has been writing or imagining children's stories for as long as he can remember. His very first picture book had an incredibly imaginative title, The Dream, which largely reflected the incredibly imaginative (read: not very imaginative) plot. A one-child book-making machine, he wrote, illustrated and published it all by himself in 1992 at the age of 12. He still has this book, and he shares it at school visits.
