Sue Deutscher lives in Melbourne, Australia, with her husband, son, and two beautiful cats. She is a cat lady and has always had one, two, or three kitties in her home. Originally a primary school teacher, Sue fell in love with picture books many years ago. After several years in the classroom, Sue worked as a writer, editor and designer of training materials. She was also interested in opening a cat cafe. Recently, she decided to combine her love of 'picture books', 'cats' and 'cat cafes' and began to write and illustrate the ongoing story of The BiG Meow.
