SANDREKA WAS BORN AND raised in Chambers County, Alabama, with two incredible parents, one sibling, and a host of supportive family and friends. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, LaGrange College, and Jacksonville State University. She draws upon the interest of religion, life, and relationships to fuel her creative writing. Sandreka Y. Brown is a national board-certified mathematics teacher who also enjoys writing.
