Dunn, Grace Grote, and Nancy Axelrad are all real people who write under the name Laura Lee Hope. Laura Lee Hope was used as a pen name for the first time when the Bobbsey Twins came out in 1904. The Bobbsey Twins, along with Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys, were some of the most well-known characters that the Stratemeyer Literary Syndicate made.
