In The Body Double, a downtrodden young man wakes one morning to find a mysterious twin living with him. Jared Harel lives in Astoria, NY. His poems have appeared or are forthcoming in such journals as Tin House, Ecotone, The Threepenny Review, Gettysburg Review, The Southern Review, and American Poetry Review. He holds degrees from Binghamton University and Cornell University, and plays drums for the NYC-based rock band The Dust Engineers.
