Autorenporträt
Nick Piombino (born October 5, 1942) is an American poet, essayist, artist and psychotherapist. Although he has been associated with poets from both the New York School of the 1960s and the Language Poets of the 1970s, Piombino's work is not easily classified, straddling not only poetic movements but the line between poetry and prose, verbal and visual, in challenging ways. His work across several genres is held together by the nature of time and duration. Piombino regularly collaborates with his wife, artist Toni Simon.
