This is the second book of Joey's adventures.. Joey and his mates, Stinky and Brick, are at their clubhouse. It is at the end of their town, inside an old abandoned house. The boys are talking about what else they could do during their school holidays, when Brick says "Let's go camping" and the other boys chime in "That'd be cool. Yeah let's do it tomorrow!" But this is the first time the boys would be going camping on their own. So find out what happens when Joey goes home to ask permission.

I have always believed that children should be able to grow up with fun in their lives. But that isn't always possible, so the opportunity to use their imagination, through reading, is a truly precious gift. And to spend time reading a story to a child, is an experience that both parents and grandparents, will treasure, as much as the child does. I live in a small country town, with my husband and my family all live within 10 minutes of me. So many of the "family experiences" that Joey has, are based on those experiences. And I think that when you read these stories, you might find that there is a little bit of Joey in each of us.
