Heidi Kasa writes poetry and fiction. She received the 2024 Plaza Prose Poetry Prize and the 2023 Poetry Super Highway Prize for poems from The Bullet Takes Forever. She is the author of The Beginners, winner of the 2023 Digging Press Chapbook contest, and Split (Monday Night Press, 2022). Kasa's writing has appeared in Barrelhouse, The Pinch Journal Online, and The Racket, among others. When she's not working as an editor, she's making artist books and necklaces in Austin.
