The Butterfly Pond explores the complexities of the soul; tapping into both its darkest moments and proving to itself why the celebrations of life are worth every pain. It writes on ironies of the world, the necessity of nature, of water, and it defines identity in every metaphorical way possible. Every little detail in life is worth attention; it is what makes everything larger than life make sense. This is not a love poetry book. It has no single subject, and it trusts no one and everything at the same time. These are my footprints as I took the significant, precious thyme to ponder this life as I cross that line of 18. Maybe it will inspire you somehow- why else would I write?
Autorenporträt
A poet from Boulder, Colorado, Benjamin Archer is has lived his whole life in the mountains; meaning most of his time writing is spent in the car... on the way, well, anywhere important. A JP Sousa Award winning graduate from Skyline High School, he aspires to have better credentials, but he's not that old, so be nice. Benji is on his way to greater things- the plan? I know you want to ask- meeting Andrea Gibson and attending CU Boulder for climate justice, because what matters more than the world? But, really, who knows. For now it's cleaning houses and making cool sh*t. Like this book!
