Barbara E. Moss is a retired translator of Russian scientific journals. Her stories and newspaper articles have been published in Cats and Kittens Magazine, the Chicago Tribune, the New Bedford Standard Times, and the Providence Journal. She is the author of The Adventures of Sir Goblin the Feline Knight, Mo, Cat of My Heart, The Two Brothers' Detective Agency (for young readers) and Quilted Quick and Dead, the first book in the Anna Rendle series. Barbara enjoys singing, gardening, and knitting. She is the mother of three children and lives with her husband and cat in southeastern Massachusetts.
