Fiona and her big brother, Camden, share a unique bond--they were both born profoundly deaf. However, with the help of cochlear implants, they have discovered a world of sound. They have also embraced sign language! In this book, Fiona learns that she can accept teasing because of her hearing aids and the magnets on the sides of her head. With Camden's help, she realizes, too, that teasing is because others don't understand what it's like being deaf and how cochlear implants help her hear. Despite the challenges, Fiona's journey is filled with joy and discovery. She revels in the music experience, the connection with her non-deaf friends, and the unique communication within the deaf community through sign language. During her group's musical and dance recital, Fiona shows the audience, including two boys who made fun of her, that our unique differences make us special. Discover the lessons learned while dealing with the challenges of being deaf, the power of cochlear implants, sign language, and the profound strength of acceptance that can bridge any gap! Join Fiona and Camden in their unique adventures! This book is the third installment in the Camden series: Book 1--Camden and His Superpower Ears Go to a New School, and Book 2--Camden and His Superpower Ears and a Superpower Team.
