Doggers has played chess for more than thirty-five years and has covered it for nearly twenty. He has interviewed dozens of grandmasters, played basketball with Magnus Carlsen and interviewed Garry Kasparov at Bobby Fischer's grave. Doggers lives in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
