Autorenporträt

I am a former elementary educator. I developed my passion for working with children in my hometown of Chicago. I continued that passion as a career educator. Always enjoying being a storyteller, I didn't originally intend to write children's picture books or any books for that matter.. However, I ran into such great ideas for stories that I found myself capturing ideas on napkins when in restaurants, on the back of receipts when shopping, and on the margins of newspapers when I was in the car. Those ideas translated into something I now happily pursue as a retired educator. I spend my days honing my craft on the shores of Lake Marion in Lakeville, MN by writing, networking with other authors, and enjoying the creativity that living on a lake encourages.
