Kazim Ali is an award-winning LGBTQ+ author, poet, and current professor and chair of the department of literature at the University of California San Diego. He has written many celebrated books of poetry and prose, including the 2021 release Northern Light, a memoir of his Canadian childhood. This is Kazim's first book for young people, expanding his love of gaming and interactive literature into an epic fantasy in the world of Elaria.
