Dr. Abdulwahab Al-Messiri was an influential Arab Islamic thinker and professor at Ain Shams University. Born in 1938 in Damanhour, Egypt, and deceased in 2008, he completed his education in Alexandria before earning a master's from Columbia University in 1964 and a PhD from Rutgers University in 1969. Al-Messiri taught at institutions like King Saud University and served as a cultural advisor to the Arab League at the UN. His major works include the eight-volume "Encyclopedia of Jews, Judaism, and Zionism," alongside extensive writings on secularism, modernity, and Western civilization.
