Anne Brontë (1820-1849) was an English novelist and poet, the youngest of the famous Brontë sisters. Born in Thornton, West Yorkshire, she spent much of her life in the remote village of Ha worth. Anne is best known for her two novels, Agnes Grey (1847) and The Tenant of Wildfell Hall (1848), which explore themes of love, independence, and the constraints placed on women in Vic torian society. While her works were overshadowed by the fame of her sisters Charlotte and Emily, Anne's writing is celebrated for its realism, emotional depth, and critique of social norms. Her untimely death at the age of 29 has left her literary legacy to be increasingly recognized as an essential part of the Brontë family's contribution to English literature.
