Autorenporträt
It is an oddity of history that great talents are sometimes forgotten. I occasionally wonder about the odd and unlikely combination of events that must coincide and conspire in order for the world to "forget" great writers like Stacy Aumonier (1877 1928) or Stephen Leacock or Susan Glaspell. Lost to history and unknown to modern readers, Aumonier was a gifted short story writer, perhaps as good as they come, and was recognized as one of Britain's aspiring authors during his own lifetime. I took the time this morning to start an effort to retrieve his works and make them available here. I hope you enjoy the pieces I retrieve and take the time to share them with your friends.
