Jake Bailey is an internationally acclaimed educator on resilience, the author of the number 1 bestseller What Cancer Taught Me and, as a Commonwealth Study Conference alumnus, has been recognized as one of the most promising emerging leaders across the Commonwealth. Following his study in positive psychology, Jake has shared his work with over 100,000 people through thousands of presentations across dozens of cities. He has developed resilience strategies for corporations, organizations and schools across the globe, educating a range of audiences - including elite athletes, children in outback towns, Fortune 500 CEOs, prison inmates, foreign governments and people in retirement homes - on evidence-based tools that enable us to most effectively overcome the challenges we all face in life. Jake is the subject of the documentary 'The Common Touch' and an official ambassador for two charities: the Maia Health Foundation in New Zealand and Tour de Cure in Australia. He now works fulltime as a resilience educator, giving talks to organizations, school and companies on resilience. Jake lives in Arrowtown, New Zealand.
