Jay Malkoun served 10 years in prison after being convicted of heroin trafficking in the late 1980s. In 2013 he resigned as Victoria's Comancheros President and moved his young family to Dubai, whilst pursuing international interests. He later moved to Athens, where an assassination attempt was made on his life through a car bomb explosion.
