Michael J. Warren is a medieval historian, environmentalist, and the author of Birds in Medieval Poetry. He is also proud to be a series editor for the esteemed journal, Medieval Ecocriticisms. His nature writing has featured in magazines such as Aeon, EarthLines and The Curlew. He is also a chair of the steering group for New Networks, and recently appeared on the documentary The Last Song of the Nightingale.
