The antagonists pack the tools of trade for criminals, guns and false names being the order of the day. After making the lake their home, the boys relax and take in their surroundings. When a day's urban exploring uncovers a king's ransom in cash, the fuse is lit for an adventure without parallel.

Paul O'Connor was born in Frankston, Victoria. He has a Diploma in Computer Science and an Advanced Diploma in Computer Systems Engineering. He is well-travelled, both in Australia and overseas. He wrote several class-leading stories in high school. He lives on the Mornington Peninsula. The Dark Water is his first book.
