Dr. Bhesham R. Sharma is Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) of Music at the University of Plymouth in Great Britain. He received his Ph.D. in Musicology from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, in 1997. Dr. Sharma has written articles on the visual arts, music, and anthropology. He is also the author of the book, Music and Culture in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction (2000). As a lecturer, he has taught at renowned universities and colleges in Canada, Singapore, China, Germany, and Great Britain. As a guitarist, he has performed prestigious popular, classical, and jazz concerts worldwide.
