Since the early days of the proclamation of the Republic, there has been a longing for rights and guarantees brought to citizens. With the promulgation of our last Constitution of the Federative Republic of Brazil of 1988 on October 5, many rights were embraced by society, citizens conquered spaces that even today, twenty-five years later, they still don't understand very clearly what they are. This collection of articles aims to bring to light some of these rights and provoke reflection on the benefits of the Federal Constitution of 1988, as well as the Democratic Rule of Law, as stated in the preamble to our Citizen's Charter - We, the representatives of the Brazilian people, gathered in a National Constituent Assembly to establish a Democratic State, aimed at ensuring the exercise of social and individual rights, freedom, security, well-being, development, equality and justice as the supreme values of a fraternal, pluralistic and unprejudiced society, founded on social harmonyand committed, in the internal and international order, to the peaceful settlement of disputes, we promulgate, under the protection of God, the following CONSTITUTION OF THE FEDERATIVE REPUBLIC OF BRAZIL.
