Eugenio Fuentes, born in Caceres, Spain in 1958, has published the novels The Battles of Breda, The Birth of Cupid (Premio Internacional de Novela Ciudad de San Fernando Luis Berenguer) and So Many Lies, (Premio Novela Extremadura a la Creacion), as well as the short story collection Dead Avenues.
