A Bad-Luck Bard and An Unstable Mage Make a Disastrous Pair. Zelnor has the most powerful, rarest magic on Eltun. It's only cost? Another spell she can't control. From growing forty feet tall to conjuring baked goods, every spell is a gamble. That kind of chaos is fun...until someone dies. And, as if that wasn't enough, her magic also makes white fur spout all over her body. Zelnor has scoured every book in every library she can find, but no one has even heard of her magic, let alone knows how to get rid of it. If she can't figure out her curse soon, she might turn into an actual monster instead of a metaphorical one. Enter Erianna Orvash'na: a bewitching bard with a propensity for teasing and a dark past of her own, whose theft changes everything. Together, they find a dragon that has the answers Zelnor seeks-for a price. Will Zelnor save herself before it's too late, or is the dragon's deal too good to be true? In this whimsical, light-hearted fantasy, an unstable mage and the flirty bard she can't seem to shake, go on a quest to get rid of the mage's magic-discovering they need each other more than they want to admit.
Autorenporträt
Robin Arnette dreamed of becoming an author for over half her life. Now, she writes epic fantasy novels and chilling horror flash fiction. She graduated from California State University-Northridge in 2021, has been published in the Northridge Review twice, and was the first recipient of the Deborah Averill Award for Creative Writing. As a member of the LBGTQIA+ Community, including representation in her books is important to her, but more than that, she takes the time to listen to her characters and lets them tell her who they are and how they identify themselves. Her hobbies include reading and writing fanfiction, Table-Top Roleplaying Games, and overanalyzing television shows with her little brother.
