This book examines the powerful forces that shape our planet and the continuous interactions among its systems. The book explores Earth's structure, from the core to the crust, and explains how internal and external processes-such as plate tectonics, erosion, volcanism, and weathering-create and transform landscapes over time. It highlights the role of minerals and rocks as the fundamental materials of Earth's surface and discusses how their formation reveals the planet's history. Produktbeschreibung
Integrating geology, geophysics, and environmental science, this work provides a comprehensive understanding of Earth as a dynamic and evolving system. By connecting natural processes to current environmental issues like climate change, resource management, and natural hazards, the book encourages readers to view the planet not as static, but as a living system in constant transformation.
