Dr. Gary Kidney is the historical fiction author of The Eagle Scout Picture, a World War II spy thriller that follows a young American boy as an undercover agent in Nazi Germany. Read more about it.Previously, he was an educator and academic administrator who worked for years in higher education information technology. He has taught over 650 professors how to teach using technology and over a thousand students from eighth grade to graduate school with technology. He retired from Yale University as the Deputy Chief Information Officer in 2015. Previously, he worked at Rice University, the University of Maryland, and the University of Houston-Clear Lake.He holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, a Bachelor of Arts in Education, and a Master of Arts in Education from Arizona State University. His doctorate in education came from the University of Houston. His Master of Fine Arts in Creating Writing came from Albertus Magnus College where his master's project was the first draft of the historical fiction book The Eagle Scout Picture, a suspenseful drama of espionage in Nazi Germany.
