In particular, mindfulness practices have a positive influence on people's general well-being. However, research into mindfulness is still in its infancy. This book takes a closer look at a few unexplored topics. More specifically, it examines whether the very first meditation session already has a positive effect on well-being. In addition, it discusses possible gender differences and the intention with which mindfulness exercises are practised.
