Barbara H. Seeber is a native Texan and graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and Columbia University. With more than 30 years of experience in publishing, she is an award-winning feature writer and former National Geographic writer and editor. She has published books on science-based health remedies and on the gardens of the nation's capital. The Empresario's Wife is the author's debut novel. She resides in Washington, DC, with her husband and two dogs and two cats
