Joy Joyner is a storyteller at heart, a mother of two, and a former teacher with a love for imagination and adventure. Joy grew up with a family of storytellers and has always loved books, especially Christ-centered fantasy books that point to Christ through symbolic imagery. She believes storytelling is a powerful way to teach truth and equip children with the tools to navigate life's challenges. With a bachelor's degree in early childhood education, Joy taught first grade and kindergarten for six years before becoming a mother. Joy grew up on the mission field in Eastern Europe's Moldova and Bulgaria, and currently resides on a farm in Georgia with her husband and two kids. Her home often gives her inspiration for new story ideas.
